In 2019 Michael Echols was elected the Louisiana House of Representatives. Since that time, he has been a firm advocate for conservative policies and a leader within the Louisiana House of Representatives serving in the Conservative Caucus as well as a members of the House Republican Delegation Executive Committee.

 

Echols has worked for nearly two decades in historic commercial and residential development, healthcare, insurance and numerous state and local nonprofit boards. 

 

In the legislature, Michael is focused on working to grow job opportunities for the citizens of the state, creating conservative tax policy and improving the healthcare outcomes of Louisiana’s citizens.
