In 2019, Gabe became the first Republican to be elected State Representative from District 22. Since that time, he has been a faithful advocate for traditional conservative values such as fiscal responsibility, pro-life causes, 2nd Amendment rights, and smaller state government that is more transparent and accountable to the people of Louisiana.  

Gabe has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and construction industries, and he is very active in serving his community and church in a variety of roles.

Gabe and his wife, Erica Miller Firment, have 3 children and are the proud grandparents of 2 young grandchildren.
